Noteworthy... SOL tests will be given next week. There are practice sites linked on our school website that are excellent practice that you can access at home, www.kempsvillees.vbschools.com/ Please make sure that your child is sticking to a schedule, getting a good night's sleep each night and eating a good breakfast. Social Studies
Our latest Social Studies unit is on Grovernment. We have been talking about our local, state, and national government as well as looking at a few of our national symbols and talking about rights and responsiblilty. We are also reviewing past units for the test.
Science
Our next unit in science will be talking about renewable and nonrenewable resources. With gas prices soaring, this is such a timely unit!
